This is one of our favorite quick, flavorful meals and it’s a must try. The best part is that it’s one pot! This can be a great lunch or dinner meal. GoGo Quinoa has been my go-to pasta since I found it back in 2017 when I decided to try and go gluten free. I was going through an elimination diet to try and fix my stomach issues, turns out it’s soy & barley! I am thankful for a brand like GoGo Quinoa who pride themselves on being NON-GMO, organic and gluten-free products which are also free from the main 12 Canadian allergens.
Read MoreMy family and I have been enjoying products from GoGo Quinoa since around 2017 when I found them in stores! I first discovered their line of pasta and started integrating them into my recipes (Chili Mac & Cheese post coming soon!) but for now, let’s talk breakfast! GoGo Quinoa has so many breakfast options from hot cereal, regular cereal and even pancake mix! We dove right into the pancake mix; it was so easy!
Read MoreAs a family of four, our dinners can be pretty hectic. We like to opt for easy meals often, and meals the kids will enjoy with us. Burrito bowls have been a staple in our home for years now, and we’ve incorporated more flavour into our dish with Bush’s® Honey Baked Beans!
Read MoreIf you are looking to find a way to use up your garden zucchini or just downright don’t like it in savoury dishes. You MUST try out this recipe. It can be made into a loaf or into muffins for convenience. What I love most about making zucchini bread or muffins is that fact you can’t even taste it or see it in the finished product.
Read MoreGerman Potatoes Salad has been on my mind for months ever since I had it last year. Here in Victoria we have a vegan restaurant that is buffet style & they made a mean German potato salad & I was in love at first taste! It’s no secret I’m a sucker for dill seasoning! So I decided to try and make it at home a vegan friendly recipe without cashew sauce. I decided to kind of wing it because I was going off of a non-vegan recipe and some ingredient measurements just didn’t feel right to me. You can really make it your own! It’s such a versatile dish. I decided to make this delicious shareable dish here you for those who need a delicious potato salad that is absolutely no animal product & soy free!
Read MoreI want you to enjoy the delicious crisped pillow-like brownie cookies! They get their name crinkle cookie from the beautiful crinkle it makes during the baking process and the powdered sugar on top separating & not disintegrating. I love how delicious these are & so easy to make!

Read MoreOver the last year I have done research over and over again to find out what is the best plant based milk alternative that I can give me son to fit his nutritional needs. I am in numerous groups on Facebook where I see daily “What is the best whole fat dairy” they can give their little.. I refuse to give my son dairy because I for one am dairy intolerant & it’s against my beliefs. I am plant based but I am not a preacher by any means, you can look up & educate yourself else where because I am not here to step on toes! You can feed your little & yourself whatever you chose! I’m just simply sharing what works for us as a plant based family and to help those of you who would like to go the alternative route to feeding your little cow’s milk products.
Read MoreOver the holidays, aka Christmas.. I meant to write this post some time ago but work got the best of me! anyways, I really craved something sweet and to my surprise we had no chocolate besides chocolate chips! So, I decided to quickly whip up a batch of chocolate chip cookies regardless if they were going to be crappy blobs or delicious cookies. I pulled out my Kitchen Aid Mixer and got to work. Mixing the ingredients. I was finding I didn’t have certain ingredients, so I improvised and made the best recipe! I promise!
Read MoreDon't be fooled by the quinoa! These muffins are absolutley delicious and have you wanting more than one! Also, they are vegan! Every time we cook quinoa for dinner all I can think of is chocolate chip muffins because I originally started making non-vegan muffins back in 2012 or 2013 from the Quinoa 365 cook book. It's both a blessing & a curse?

Although I am posting this now in September it was just in the list of things I wanted to hold off on posting so I didn't look like a fall crazed lunatic..
